Minutes of SPECIAL TOWN MEETING

JAN. 14, 2008


The Moderator Robert Floyd opened the meeting with the Allegiance to the Flag at 6:30p.m. The checkers were Virginia Huntley, and Ruth Bernier. 
A quorum of 53 were present.

The Moderator read the warrant and the return of the warrant, then preceded with the meeting.

Under Article 1 it was moved and seconded that the Town vote to transfer from the Stabilization Fund the sum of $33,000.00 to be used by the 
Police Department for the purchase of a four-wheel drive police vehicle and any auxiliary equipment.

A two third vote was necessary.    47 yes    no 0

Motion passed 

A motion made and seconded to adjourn at 6:45p.m.

A true copy of the warrant and the return of the warrant, and the minutes of the meeting.
