The Friends of the Edwards Public Library is a non-profit organization open to all members of the community, whose purpose is to support, promote and assist the Library. It was begun in 1994 and continues today to provide for materials, projects and events whose costs cannot be met by the Library's budget.
Last year, with money raised through the annual membership drive, and by the book and bake sale held each May, the Friends purchased books and computers for the adult and children's room, a pass to the Eric Carle Museum, and a television and VCR/DVD player. The Friends also provided refreshments for the Library's monthly reading series, The Voice.
