The Assistance Program provides referrals to seniors in need of home services such as yard work, housekeeping, companions and trash removal. A yearly survey is sent to all Southampton residents to identify potential volunteers and paid workers to participate in the program. All participants are C.O.R.I. checked before being referred to a senior in need.

The TRIAD/S.A.L.T. Council provides house numbers to all Southampton residences. The reflective house number is installed on a metal post at the end of the driveway. The numbers enable emergency personnel to easily locate homes. Cell phones that may be used for 911 emergency calls only are provided to seniors free of charge.
